Gioia means Joy, Delight!  GioiaARTS is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building opportunities for children and communities to flourish through the joy of art-making. We seek to work in partnership with foreign and domestic mission communities to supply art-making materials and to help establish and support ongoing visual arts programs for the children and youth served by these communities.

Art supplies and the opportunity for art exploration are often scarce or unavailable for children living in or served by mission communities. GioiaARTS raises funding to directly help missions establish a visual arts program or support an existing program.  Whether the need is to help re-fit a space as a dedicated art studio or support the start-up of an after-school arts enrichment program, we can help get the plan rolling as we work with partners to implement sustainable programming for youth.  The goal of Mission Arts is to expand the educational and emotional development of children as they build bright futures.

We are always in need of your help. You are an integral part of the success of our mission. Your donation of materials or funds will sustain a GioiaARTS Room, provide tools and materials to support a current  after school art program, or support the 2023 project: GioiaARTS Summer Day Camp. Join the Arts Mission: Mission Arts and help children get messy, make stuff, and feel the GIOIA!

The buildout of the GioiaARTS ART LAB project was completed in 2020 one month before the pandemic shut down the world. The COVID-19 pandemic suspended the Saturday morning program temporarily.  However, in-person sessions resumed in October 2022. The program now serves fifty children in two sessions each Saturday. In July 2023 GioiaARTS facilitated a two-week GioiaARTS Summer Camp at the SSV Mission, renewed the lifesize Station of the Cross statues in Jenkins,, Kentucky, and went to Ol Moran, Kenya to paint the walls of the SSV Catholic Dispensary mural. Help sustain and expand this GioiaARTS outreach and programs for the youth and adults served by mission communities. Send the gift of needed art supplies today.
